BBB Integrity Awards Honor Businesses and Charities for Their Ethical Business Practices
CHICAGO, December 9, 2021 – The vision of the Better Business Bureau (BBB) is “an ethical marketplace where buyers and sellers trust each other.” In this spirit, BBB’s Foundation of Chicago and Northern Illinois held its 25th Annual Torch Awards Event to gain public recognition for organizations that go “above and beyond” in serving all their stakeholders and their community. The Torch Awards are the most prestigious honor the BBB can present to exceptional organizations for their dedication to integrity and ethical business practices.
“The Torch Award is the most prestigious award the BBB can present to a business,” said Steve J. Bernas, President & CEO of the Better Business Bureau serving Chicago and Northern Illinois. “Torch Award winners demonstrate the highest ethical standards and trust with customers, business partners, shareholders and the communities in which they do business. Being a recipient of this award indicates the company not only believes in the high standards promoted by the BBB, but consistently demonstrates and integrates them into daily business practices.”
The 2021 Award Winners were evaluated by a prestigious independent panel of 20 judges from the business and academic communities. The Torch Awards are open to all Chicago and Northern Illinois based businesses that have been in business for three years or more and have a track record of trust, ethics, and exceptional service. Winners were chosen in 8 different categories. They were honored during the Torch Awards Luncheon held during a virtual ceremony on Thursday, December 9th.
Vision2Voice, with offices in Omaha and Chicago, was selected to win a Torch Award for the first time in Chicago after two previous wins in Omaha in 2014 and 2019.
