Dr. Stanley Schwartz is an Affiliate of the Main Line Health System, and an Emeritus Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, currently in a private practice in Ardmore, Pa. Dr. Schwartz received his MD in 1973 from the University of Chicago in Chicago, Illinois. He then completed his residency at the University of Pennsylvania, followed by a fellowship in endocrinology and metabolism at the University of Chicago.

Dr. Schwartz actively lectures nationally and internationally about diabetes and its treatment. In the past 8 years he has been a CME speaker and has authored numerous articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals and has been a lead or co-investigator for many clinical trials.

These include positions at Stuart Pharmaceuticals (now AstraZeneca), The American College of Surgeons, and Buckley Dement, a healthcare direct marketing and fulfillment company. Howard served as a Senior Vice President and corporate officer at PDI Inc, a $100 million publically-traded company, and President of PDI’s Pharmakon Division based in Schaumburg, IL. During his fourteen-year tenure at Pharmakon he helped build the organization into a top peer-interactive communications agency. Most recently Howard was President of a specialty digital production company that executes satellite and web broadcasts within the biopharmaceutical industry.
