Chicago V2V Team Volunteers at Feed My Starving Children

V2V team packing meals

The Vision2Voice Chicago team recently lent a hand at Feed My Starving Children (FMSC), a nonprofit dedicated to fighting global hunger, which claims 1 life every 4 seconds worldwide. For many years, we have proudly supported FMSC’s mission because the organization provides life-saving meals to children through volunteers. FMSC meals are developed by food science and nutrition professionals to reduce problems with malnutrition and enable children to grow, thrive and develop to their full potential.

During our visit, V2V members donned hairnets and gloves to pack nutritious MannaPacks® filled with essential ingredients: vitamins, vegetables, soy, and rice. The result? Together, we packed 61 boxes containing 13,176 meals—enough to provide 36 children with daily meals for an entire year!

Volunteer days have been a tradition at V2V since our founding in 2008. This experience reminded us of the power of teamwork and the importance of giving back. Every meal we packed represents hope and health for a child in need, and we encourage you to join us in supporting FMSC. Together, we can help create a world where no child goes to bed hungry!
